Reda is an attorney and policy consultant based in Houston, Texas, the proud wife of a recently retired Army Special Forces soldier, and mom to son Howie (6) and daughter Josie (3). A major focus of her professional work is advocacy on behalf of military families. For three years, she has served in the leadership of the Military Spouse JD Network as government relations director, working on a number of policy initiatives, including rule change efforts to simplify licensing requirements for military spouses. She is a strategic policy lead for the #KeepYourPromise Coalition in its fights to repeal cuts to military retirement benefits. In 2014, Reda was name Armed Forces Insurance Army Spouse of the Year in recognition of her efforts on behalf of military families.
Reda is very active in her Houston, Texas, community, where she serves on numerous nonprofit and charitable boards. Reda was named a 2014 Rising Star by the League of Women Voters for her work in the community, and was also honored by the Houston Business Journal as one of its Top 40 Under 40. This year, Reda was one of only nineteen professionals chosen state-wide to be added as new members of the Board of Directors of the Texas Lyceum.
