The position will have primary responsibility for coordinating project activities including planning regional and annual committee meetings, arranging travel, updating project webpages, managing webinars, and creating project materials for a veteran spouse network.
Coordinates webinar training and polls conducted through webpage. Updates Facebook and webpage information, including calendar, announcements and other information. Works collaboratively with the Project Director and network members to develop the veteran spouse network by reaching out to partner military and veteran agencies to identify spouses and recruit them into the network. Leads the preparation of regular reports to the funding agency. Facilitates project team meetings to ensure coordination of project activities, timely progress on project activities and consistent communication with TexVet. Administers the Texas Veteran Spouse Network steering committee. Maintain communication with steering committee members, develop and disseminate agendas, prepare meeting materials, and offer support between meetings. Presents information about network at regional meetings and via webinar. Participates in regular project management meetings and maintains up-to-date work plans for all project activities. Supervises student assistant on project and other related job functions as assigned.

Licenses: Class "C" Operator's Driver's License. Applicant selected must provide a current three year Driving Record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, must obtain a Texas Driver's License within 30 days after entering Texas as a new resident.
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, public health, or related health and human service filed. Five years of experience coordinating or administering a program. Must be a current or former spouse of a military service member. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Master's degree in social work, psychology, public health, or related field. Two years experience in social welfare or military-related social support services.
